Honest by design

Voice quality is partly subjective. VocalTone keeps a clear line between what is measured and what is estimated, so you always know how much to trust each number.

Measured

Pitch, range, stability in cents, HNR, CPPS, jitter, shimmer and spectral ratios — standard acoustic measures.

Estimated

Roundness, brightness, breathiness and other timbre labels, and the overall score — transparent heuristics, labelled as estimates.

Scored only with a reference

Pitch accuracy is only scored when you sing known target notes. Free singing never gets a fake accuracy score.
